Ireflectweb.jpg

For the past five years I have been living in Raleigh, North Carolina though I spent most of my life in Canada.  After graduating from the University of British Columbia in Literature, I moved to Toronto to complete a painting degree at the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2003.

I use the natural perspectives inherent in wood grain as backdrops for my Koi Fish and other animals. Carefully selected wood grain designs are highlighted with sheer colored oils to appear as water, earth or sky.

All digital photography is un-retouched and I rely on natural lighting.  My snapshots are stages upon which the characters live out their lives.

All nature photography is un-retouched and we can see all the minute details of a beautiful flower which is the temporary center of our universe.
